The Workshops “The Concept of Tolerance and the Concept of Peace in Judaism, Christianity and Islam” (December 12th-15th) were organized by the Chair of Oriental Philology and Islamic Studies of the Friedrich Alexander University Erlangen Nuremberg and the Sheikh Nahyan Center of Arabic Studies and Intercultural Dialogue at the University of Balamand, Lebanon. It has been supported by Evangelical Church in Germany and the Staedtler Foundation.
